If you find yourselves heading toward St. Malo, take some time to visit these beautiful gardens at Chateau Montmarin.
A remarkable garden on the banks of the Rance, near Dinard and Saint-Malo. Le Montmarin, the only shipowner’s mansion on the left bank of the Rance, looks out over a magnificent stretch of water. The 6 ha park, which is laid out in terraces leading down to the river Rance, comprises a French garden and romantic park with lawns, groves, rockery, banks of trees and flowers and botanical collections. There is also a nursery on site where you can purchase plants.
